Gisele Bundchen

Gisele first hit my radar back in 2004 when she started dating Leonardo DiCaprio. I remember seeing the photograph of them together (below) and getting excited that I had discovered a new style icon or girl crush, how ever you chose to describe it. Even looking at this image now, I'm still transfixed on how amazing her overall look is.
This romance between the 2 may have been what first had the mass media take interest her, but this clever & beautiful woman was already well on her way to worldwide fame and success. At 28 Gisele is now the highest paid model in the world & also the 16th richest women in the entertainment world. Having been the face of more than 20 Brands Internationally she recently teamed up with Brazilian footwear company Grendene (iPanema) to produce her own line of sandals.

Now I'm not just saying this because I've been stalking Gisele for 4 years now, these sandals are AMAZING. The designs are stylish, the colours are all earthy and natural, and the comfortably.... Wow! We can spend 100's of dollars on shoes that we will happily wear because they look great but need to take them off after a few painful hours, you will no doubt want to absolutely live in these.

Anyway, enough of my raving as you will just have to see for yourself. They certainly have my endorsement.

Simplicity is the key...

With so many amazing new trends screaming out at us from shops, magazines & the Internet, sometimes it's easy to forget that plain & simple is the key to genuine style.

Reign is the most recent addition to the AustralianFlavour Boutique. A collection of cute & simple pieces made from soft natural fabrics and slub cotton yarns. Subtle light greys, cream, safari and peach make up the Reign collection of natural colours. A tight consistent collection to mix and match, designed to tie back and layer with denim, shorts and dresses. The collection is subtle yet edgy & we are sure you will love!

This Summer's Maxi Dress

Every magazine right now seems to be featuring the maxi dress. I must admit, it is such a perfect staple item for summer. So easy to wear casually or glammed up for night. I really love the Pani "Sexy Maxi" available in green or pink. The cotton jersey fabric fits snugly in all the right places and drapes down across the body flatteringly exactly where you want it to.

Such yummy colours too!!!

One Teaspoon "Vintage Twist" Collection

One Teaspoon would definitely have to be one of Australia's most successful fashion labels. Designer Jamie Blakely seems to get it perfectly right each season with her collections appealing to a variety of tastes from edgy urban street, to sexy girly pieces.

Having followed the label right from it's launch back in 2000, I was exceptionally excited when they announced bringing out a "Vintage Twist" collection for this coming Spring. All the pieces have that "original" One Teaspoon feel to them, from cute little denim skirts to logo tees and beachy girly dresses. Eagerly counting down the days to it's arrival, below are a couple of my very favourites....
Can't wait!!!

Zoemou For Shona Joy

2 of my favourite labels have joined together to design a gorgeous new jewellery range. Clever designer Zoe Sernack (Zoemou) and Shona Joy have just release the "Zoemou For Shona Joy" limited range of pendants for this season. These gorgeous wooden pendants are made from laser cut varnished pine and have the cute designs burned into them. There is also the traditional Zoemou leather cut out pendant in a special duck design. All are beautifully gift boxed. These are the perfect gift for someone special, or just to spoil yourself with!
